Managing Blood Sugar
Hiking (aerobic exercise) will cause your blood sugar to drop over time, especially with active insulin on board. Consider a reduced basal or a snack before we start. Learn more about timing your blood sugars with our Exercise Timing Simulator and Extended Exercise Simulator.
